Two professional events provided extraordinary entertainment for the fans of architecture in November in the House of Wisdom.

Mr LeventeSzabó, Ybl-awarded architect informed the visitors about the approximately eight-century-long history of the old Buda Town Hall as well as the challenges related to the reconstruction works. This program, embedded in a complete visit of the building, was organised by the Association of Hungarian Architects and the Contemporary Architecture Centre.

Within the framework of the second event, BalázsBiri, architect of HetedikMűterem Ltd., the company responsible for the reconstruction works of the House of Wisdom together with Andrea Szakál, architect of BLOKK ÉpítészMűhely Ltd., and the second-year students of the Institute for Theoretical Studies from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design specialized in design culture visited the building of the Old Town Hall as part of the Art techne/built environment subject.
